Personal information in client systems
When we build or support a website, we may have access to personal information stored in it, such as the details of its users. We handle that information only as our client instructs and as our contract with them requires, and we use it for nothing else.
Before any copy of a website's data is used outside the live site, for development, testing or support, we sanitise it with our own tooling, removing or replacing the personal information it holds. We do this on every project, whether or not AI is part of the work.
We use AI tools on a client's project only with the client's written approval, as set out in our Responsible AI policy, and those tools only ever work with sanitised data.
Why we collect it

- understand how our website is used, so we can improve it

Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including providers of email, website analytics, meeting scheduling, business contact data, email engagement tracking, AI assistance and secure record storage. They process information on our behalf to provide those services.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States.
We disclose personal information to others only where the law requires or permits it, or with your consent.
How we look after it
We keep personal information in access-controlled systems and devices, used only by people who need it for their work. We keep it while we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
